North Central Ecumenical Projects
Our projects include
Union Rescue Mission, Our House, UAMS Medical Center and Arkansas Children's
Hospital. Listed below are the projects, what they include and the month
that is collected for the specific project.
March - Union Rescue
Mission Pantry Shelf
Any food items that are canned, dried or packaged (no perishables). These
will be taken to the Union Rescue Mission at 615 N. Magnolia, North Little
Rock.
June - Our House Shelter
Bathroom and kitchen supplies including paper supplies and/or personal
supplies (i.e. shampoo, body soap, bath towels and wash cloths), coffee
September - UAMS Medical
Center
Layette items which include receiving blankets, gowns and T-shirts in
3 month sizes, booties, PJs, bibs, caps, sheets, blankets or quilts.
December - Arkansas
Children's Hospital
Please contact us for a current list.
Donations for any of these organizations may be brought in any time during the month and placed in the blue-topped plastic storage container in the Fellowship Hall. After the last day of the month, they will be taken to the respective recipients. The Christmas gifts for Children's Hospital usually have to be delivered on or before December 15th, so make certain they are placed in the storage container or give them directly to Nettie Jane Goss, Gardner's UMW Representative, by that time.
